Lost the vote. Heard the winners and the thoughts, “Yeah, s/he really deserves it,” again in again in my head.
It is good to be working at a place where everyone is talented and valued. No more carrying teams with dead weight. No complaints in the professional life for now.

breakfasting at work can become a mundane routine. the trick to staying healthy is choosing a variety of nutritional snacks to munch on without resorting to stabbing hunger pains pre-lunch or gorging on an office-catered lunch. (sidenote: I’ve had more quizno’s working at Coke then I have ever had my entire lifetime) so I leave you with this: cracker barrel individual cheddar packages...

I am a little frightened. Tomorrow’s my first day and somehow I have to get from my house (East Van) to West Richmond. It’s a 15 minute drive if you speed along the hwy.
My car has been out since the snow began so I am taking my dad’s car. Which still isn’t that great. Add ice, the highway, the Knight street bridge and Richmond traffic in Monday morning traffic.
